Put Windows 98 SE and Windows 98 have started hanging after installing the
DSClient, it seems that the DSClient may be causing the system's to hang.

I'm aware of the update, which I'm going to obtain shortly and test on a
client to see if it fixes the problem.

Has any one experienced this issue either before or after installing the
DSClient update, or any other suggestions.

Thanks.

Nope. Not run into that one. We had some systems that were having issues
logging into a Windows 2000 server. The Dsclient seemed to help a bit but I
don't remember systems freezing or hanging after install.

Are you running Antivirus (Presuming you are, if you have you tried it with
it disabled, done a spyware scan, waved magic sticks...)

I've had very good luck with the DSClient that is available by calling
Microsoft. No problems at all with 5 windows 98SE machines for one
client. I'm not so sure about the publicly available DSClient that was
for Windows 2000.
