POP3 Connector problem

I have been using the pop3 connector for SBS2003 for
about 7 months now and all of a sudden I am experiencing
a problem. If I stop the service and restart it, then it
will download mail one time. I notice that the
imbdlvr.exe process in the taskmanager will consume at
least 50% utiliation. I also notice in the pickup folder
there is usually one .eml file there. I have tried to
delete this file, but it usually comes back with a
different file name. Is this my problem? Is there a
corrupt email message? How can I get rid of it or
correct the problem.

Thanks in advance,
Jim

Use pandamail.net or mailstart.com or some other web based mail app to
get into that mailbox and clear out the gunk that is blocking the email
[malformed junk mail]. Honestly this is why POP isn't really robust as
everyone thinks it is.

"ALL" of the pop connector programs I have used or "touched" have gotten
stuck at one time or another with a malformed email.

Thank you for your respones. The mail account has a
webmail interface already. I have used it as well as the
pandamail to check the roadrunner server. I have used
the OWA interface to check it from my server and still
can't seem to get it cleared out. Is there another
utility that can be used? Is there a directory other
than the mailroot\vs1\pickup that I can look at to clear
the messages out. It is almost like it is having
problems routing it to the proper mailbox since it will
download the entire batch, but then hang up. I have also
applied all the patches for the exchange server and pop3
connector.

I actually found the problem piece of mail. It was in
the pop3\incoming folder. As soon as I deleted it from
there then the process began moving all of the other mail
from the incoming folder into the store.
