Hi LMI,
Thank you for posting in SBS newsgroup.
From the description, do you mean you receive the following error while
attempting to run the Small Business Server 2003 backup wizard?
An unexpected error occurred (80070057). The parameter is incorrect.
If so, the problem may be caused by WMI is not correctly registered. To fix
this error, do the following:
1. Open a command prompt and cd to %windir%\system32\wbem
2. Run the following command:
for /f %x in ('dir /b *.dll') do regsvr32 /s %x
3. Restart the wizard and test your issue again.
Hope it helps.
I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Crina Li (MSFT)
