sbs2008 empty DHCP IPv4 bindings DHCP event 1050

I have this error on Just installed SBS2008 Standard. Found perfect
description on google but no fix:

Event Details:
The DHCP/BINL service on the local machine encountered a network
error. The error was: 0x 2.

SBS 2008 is the only DHCP server on the network.

DHCP is working, I can do ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew from DHCP
enabled workstations and the get a new IP as they should.

I think I have tracked down the source of the error.
If I go to Administrative Tools --> DHCP --> Right Click
"Server.domain.local" --> Add/Remove Bindings. I get an error dialog saying
"The System cannot find the file specified".
Clicking OK allows me to see that the IPv4 tab of "Server Bindings
Properties" has no available connections, it is empty. The IPv6 tab has the
IPv6 address of the Local Area Connection checked, as it should.
SBS 2008 has a single NIC with a static IP. "

Restart of server did not fix issue.

If you're using Small Business Server, you can get this error if you have
two NIC's installed on the machine, and have both configured to use the same
subnet. SBS will also report this error if another domain server is found
on the same subnet.

Not applicable. One NIC and one domain controller. Event comes whenever and
clears for a while on restart.

Hi

I'm having exactly the same issue on my SBS2008 server. A reboot hasn't fixed
the issue. Was there a resolution to the problem. Merv had said to go to the
link he had for expert-exchange, but the answers are now not available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Weird, that's my description (word for word) you found, I posted it here
last week but it never showed up.

I had a restart on Friday, now the IPv4 binding is back but the IPv6 binding
is missing. SBS has stopped complaining about it though.

Hopefully Mervs link will shed some light on this.

I had this problem on SBS 2011 server, after much searching I turned off VPN and turned it back on again using the SBS Wizards. Fixed the problem for some reason!
